Summer is here in earnest and I hate cooking for long hours. My cooking routine is simple. I wake up early, rustle up a simple meal and am out of the kitchen by 7:30 a.m. With the mercury soaring to 29 degrees and 30 degrees it is the best way to be. But that is just one meal. I love banana, in any shape and form.  I can feast on banana chips.  It is the best invention known to man.  Most days when I am too rushed to think of cooking anything for breakfast, I grab a couple of bananas and a spoonful of peanut butter.  It is my breakfast-on-the-go recipe.  Today the farmer’s market near my house had lots of raw banana.  I decided to make this kofta curry for lunch.   Procedure 1. Banana Bread

Sunday was a cheat day.  I can say it again and again clicking my heels as I do.  Sunday was a cheat day 😀 And I had this fantastic excuse, we had guests, so I could cook and sneak in a bite when no one was looking.  And I had a whole lot of bananas.  I baked banana bread.  It is a very simple bread/cake to bake, and is delicious.
